Housing Homeless Veterans is our mission.

TYH has rental properties that are residential homes that have been furnished, configured, and supplied to house veterans with housing vouchers. TYH properties offer a private bedroom, a private or shared bathroom, furnished and outfitted common areas such as living rooms, entertainment spaces, kitchen and dining areas, storage areas, protected outdoor relaxation areas and more.*

* Some amenities depend on the specific property accomidations.

Shared Kitchen

Fully equipped kitchens .

Private and/or Shared Baths

Many properties have private baths per room. Others share a full bath between two rooms.

Outdoor Spaces

Equipped outdoor spaces for relaxation and activity. All properties are non-smoking, but have outdoor access to a protected smoking area.

Veterans can contact us for housing support through our online intake form. Please fill out the form to generate a contact. We’ll help if we can. We have a limited number of available properties but we may be able to redirect your search if we have nothing available.

  • Welcome to our family! We are David Burch (Navy Vet) and Tamara Burch. We have received so many service related benefits throughout our lives that we were inspired to find some way that we could help services members who might be in need. When we learned about VASH we knew instantly that this is how we could help.

    Tango Yankee House (TYH) is a veteran-focused company dedicated to supporting veterans and at-risk individuals in achieving safe, stable housing. TYH Community Support is a non-profit and will be our service focused arm. TYH Community Support work centers on service coordination, housing stabilization, and community partnerships that reduce barriers to housing access.

    • Veteran Housing Stabilization: Case management, housing navigation, and homelessness prevention

    • Housing Preservation (Partner-Led): Minor repairs and accessibility improvements through partners

    • Workforce & Community Partnerships: Building future pipelines for housing and employment stability
